Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most popular role is Bo, from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was made by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk who was an actor as well as a producer, director, writer, teacher, as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall the earliest moments of her existence, such as watching and participating in rehearsals of stage plays. The couple got engaged in 2009, and were married at a civil wedding ceremony in December of the same year. The couple renewed their vows the 10th of April in Fredericton with the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's birth took place in May 2013and had a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk's work on television has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009, she was cast as the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk fell pregnant during the filming of season three's finale, and revealed this to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season. Then on June 20 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to return to work on the show. The CNN Cable News Network named her performance as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top television Couples. E! named them the Top Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk, as a result its popularity on social media has earned it a large internet following.
